Parks & Recreation Citizens Advisory Board
Mission Statement: To serve as a liaison between the citizens of Belmont, the City Council, and the Parks & Recreation Department. In this advisory capacity, the committee will support the mission of the Belmont Parks & Recreation Department, which states that they will strive to provide the citizens of Belmont with recreational and leisure opportunities that will positively affect the lifestyle behavior patterns of all who live, work, and play in their communities.
The Citizen Advisory Board meets the second Tuesday once a quarter at 6:00 p.m. at
City Hall.

Gad-Abouts Advisory Board
Members
represent the Gad-Abouts, a senior citizens group. This board
works with the Director to plan trips, dinners, parties and any other functions
that the Gad-Abouts participate in.
The Gad-Abouts Advisory
Board meets monthly at the J. Paul Ford Recreation Center.
